Its been nearly one week since the Colts collapse at home against Pittsburgh, and the disappointment has yet to fade. It was a year of such high expectations, a year in which the Colts threatened to go undefeated throughout the regular season, dominated in nearly every game they played, had locked up home field advantage throughout the playoffs, had secured a first round bye that was actually nearly a month long, and had the pleasure of seeing the Patriots knocked out of the playoffs by Denver. But, yet again, it was a year that in the end can only be considered a failure. That being said, fans of the sport were treated to one of the great games in NFL playoff history on that fateful Sunday afternoon; a game with story lines so intriguing that they cannot escape attention. Well, the internet definitely has its bugaboos. But, for now at least, everything seems to be sorted out. Our brief absence was due to two reasons (both, really, my fault): first, I didn't renew our domain name when I was supposed to, leading to it being "sniped" by someone else; second, there was a change in servers on our host site, causing the even more traumatic loss of all our data. Many of you were affected by the loss of your e-mail data; I'm doing what I can to recover it. In the meanwhile, this has given me the opportunity to upgrade the site infrastructure -- we're now based on Mambo, rather than PostNuke. I've rebuilt most of the site, but a lot remains to be done. The first thing that's coming is the new Gallery section... hold your horses, it'll be cool. There's some new content based on my recent travels, and much more to come. For now, enjoy, participate, publish; just pardon the dust! Write Comment (0 Comments) |

In one of the biggest rollercoaster rides of my many years of following football, the Colts dropped out of the playoffs with a resounding 21-18 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Sure, one could make many excuses for the game, like the fact that the Colts were rusty after having not played a meaningful game for what seems like an eternity, but that fact this loss was a combination of the Steelers outplaying the Colts on both sides of the ball, and the Colts just beating themselves.
